The actor John C. Cusak is in the news again for another movie and he has another reason to be.
The former “American Pie” star appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” Monday to talk about his new film “The Last Jedi,” which is set in the Star Wars universe.
Cuse has been promoting the film with a few appearances on Colbert’s podcast.
Here’s what you need to know about the actor.
He’s a ‘Star Trek’ fan and a ‘Jedi’ fan.
Cuss is also a Star Wars fan, but he isn’t a fan of the “Star Wars” franchise.
“Star Trek” creator Gene Roddenberry was originally from the original series and he liked the characters, but Roddis has said that he’s never really been a fan and he wanted to make his own version of the show, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Custer is one of Rodd’s favorite characters, so he’s been eager to work with Cusaku.
Cucuzak has said in interviews that he feels like a Star Trek fan in some ways, but has never been an actual Star Wars fanatic.
“I’m not an Star Wars superfan, but I definitely like the movies,” he said in an interview with IGN.
Cuzak is also passionate about the Star Trek franchise.
Cuhukak told IGN in an October interview that he “really wanted to be a part of it and have that passion and that love” for the show.
He has two big roles to play.
Cincy native Cusacker said he’s “very happy” with his role in the new film.
“When you see the trailer, you just see the world-building and the story,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in September.
“And you’re like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m in this movie.
What is it?
Who is it?'”
He added that he hopes the film “tells the story of the first time the Star Ships came to the planet that we know, the planet where Han Solo first went to save his ship, and the people of this planet are going to see this film, and that’s what I’m most excited about.
He said he wants to get the character to the big screen, but not the first movie.
Cukak also told The Huffington Post that he would love to work on a film set on a big screen and he thinks he could do it “better” than his character in “Star War: Episode VIII.”
He said the character could have a role in two “Star wars” movies: “It could be the first film, but if the story was different, the story could be a whole different story.”
I know that I have a big part in the story and the characters are connected and I can have that connection,” he added.
Csukak is known for playing big roles in TV and films.
He appeared on NBC’s “The Voice,” and he played the role of “Starfish” on Disney Channel’s “Family Guy.”
He played the villainous, “Starbuck” in the upcoming “Avengers” film.
He recently starred in the television series “Black Mirror” as an ex-cons in a “Serial” episode.
He is the co-lead of the upcoming film “American Horror Story: Hotel.”
Cusacks role in “The Hotel” is more of a supporting role, according the Hollywood Journal.
“American Hospitality” is set to open in theaters on June 16.
Cuuzak starred in “Empire” and “The Devil Wears Prada.”
He starred in several “Friends” episodes and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
He plays the villain in “Hercules Untold.”
He was a contestant on the CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” and was the second-in-command of the main cast.
He had a recurring role in NBC’s new comedy “Atypical.”
He portrayed the villain on “Black Panther” and the main character in the Netflix original series “Bubble.”
Cushak appeared in “American Ninja Warrior.”
He also appeared in the 2013 film “Jaws” and in the 2014 film “Black Friday.”
He stars in the movie “The Legend of Tarzan” and is currently filming “The Blacklist.”
He previously starred in a Broadway musical, “The Little Mermaid.”
